Wat A Riddle!

This evening, i managed 2 spend some time with old kakis 4 a drink or two. With the calm n cooling backgrounds with light music, we reminisced the gd old days....
then, Bob recalled a riddle he wanted us 2 guess; Ooh! cracking our head whilst drinking.. R u jokin' or not..
nevertheless, he shot his riddle which none of us could solve.. Of course, if i 'm not a bit tipsy, i guess i could. BTW, the riddle is here 4 u 2 crack:
"A man without eyes saw plums on a tree. He did not leave plums on the tree, yet he did not take plums either. How can this be?"
