Dawn Yeo or Xiaxue, Who Cares!

该怎么迎接
我们最后一个圣诞夜... Familiar? No? Never mind, i'll tell you later. Read on...
Who cares whether Dawn Yeo outbeats Xiaxue in the blog hits or not; matters of skin deep won't last, is it? To seek fame and fortune at the expense of one's soul isn't my cup of tea.
Look around the world, today. In the past fortnight, we have three cases of unfilial sons sueing their fathers in court for possession of material gains regardless of their fathers' existence or survival. It was either attempt to grab share of the family's coffee shop business, or selling the father's HDB home leaving the old joe without a roof over his head despite possessing own flat with wife. Shame on them! Where is filial piety? Fortunately, all the endings are sweet. The judge chided each of the sons for the unacceptable and shocking behaviour and award judgement in favour of the fathers.
It's this time of the year again, how time flies! X'mas is just round the corner and i think i add a little festive mood to this blog - snow in Singapore! What i want for X'mas is a little comfort to our souls.
To be able to share time with our loved ones and enjoy each other's company, to be able to talk and listen to each other and understand the other's better. You will be surprised that such simple mundane task could resolve many conflicts and unhappiness. It opens up one's thoughts and feelings about the other and vice versa. To cite a real incident related to me not too long ago, Mike was angry with his spouse for caring too much about others and neglecting their own kids. They did not talk to each other for nearly two weeks as the wife thought that her spouse was unreasonable and selfish. In the end, they managed to talk and listen to each other after advice from closed friends who learned of their quarrel. They learnt that they are both wrong in their judgement of the opposite half - both have their reasons for doing what they did! See, what i mean?!
This December, i also wish to have time to enjoy nature - maybe waking up early to watch the sun rise or grab an air ticket to Cambodia for its famous sunset. Well, this X'mas is definitely all about soothing my soul and keeping the peace, not some meaningless fame and fortune -oop! i may be stepping on someone's toe if i continue further. BTW, if Xiaxue or Dawn Yeo is your cup of tea, please help yourself by clicking at the appropriate link on the right - i've provided an escapade for those who have accidentally dropped here.
Till my return from Cambodia, see you! (Khmer Rouge and the infamous massacre, remember? Ya, i'm going to Siam Reap, Angkor Wat and...) Killing field, here i come...
Meanwhile, 'snow' from A Do for your listening pleaure. Oop! i mean Sing along:

Hi! i'm back home from the 'killing field' trip. There's no killing there, but my thighs ache from the climbing of the 7 wonder of the world - angkor wat. It's killing me, i meant my thighs! More details in my next blogpost... ;-)
